The Gate Youth

We hope this page helps you understand who the Gate youth are, what we do and how young people can get involved.

Basic Info:
All our weekly youth projects are free of charge
All our youth projects are run by Christians and include Christian content.

R E V E L A T I O N
When: Wednesdays. 7pm – 8:30pm
Where: Turnham’s House, RG31 4TT // or The Gate Empress Rd, RG31 4XR
Who: School year 7 – 13
What: A midweek church youth group. Each week we play games, explore a vast array of topics, we’ll pray, worship, study, read the Bible, respond and get creative. We hope that coming along to Revelation every week will change each young person’s life and transform their relationship with God.

Y O U T H O N S U N D A Y – (YOS)
When: Sundays. 11:30am – 12:30pm
Where: The Gate Central & The Gate Sindlesham
Who: School year 7 – 11
What: During term time, at our Sunday morning church services we also run youth sessions, These sessions include games, Bible study, discussions, activities, and prayer.

S I N D L E S H A M   Y O U T H When: Fridays. 7pm – 8:30pm
Where: The Gate Sindlesham
Who: School year 7 – 11
What: Contact Youth group to which kids can invite friends along. Chilled atmosphere, a place to hang out and have fun, play games, eat food. There are also crazy group games and an opportunity to find out about the Christian faith.

E X T R A

GATE YOUTHBAND When: 1st Sunday of the month. 1:15pm – 3:30pm
Where: The Gate Empress Rd, RG31 4XR
Who: School year 7 – 13
What: It’s an opportunity for any young people who want to grow in worship, and who are musically gifted, to be part of a group that stretches them, gives them something to aim at, and enables them to better lead people into the worship of and presence of God. If your young person isn’t already in the youth band and is interested in joining, please email the gate youth pastor; details are found below.

REVELATION Year 11 – 13 SOCIALS
Every month the gate youth Revelation year 11 – 13s will get together on a Saturday evening for a social – which usually involves snacks and group/board games. The venues and times are TBC but will be communicated to the young people and parents in the week prior to the scheduled socials. See the youth diary for the dates.

RESIDENTIALS, TRIPS & EVENTS
The youth work will aim to run a few residentials throughout the academic year. Information regarding the dates of the residentials can be found in the youth diary.
