The Gate are pioneering a congregation in Didcot; seeking to reach out to both those who don’t know Jesus yet, as well as those who do but are not currently connected to a church. We are building a thriving, loving, fun filled and family- friendly community, with all the shared core values and vision of The Gate.

The congregation meet regularly on a Sunday evening from 6pm to 8pm at Great Western Park, Northern Community Centre, Didcot, OX11 6BD.
There is a varied program of activities aimed at building relationships with one another, understanding God’s word and meeting with Him together.
1st Sunday of the month: Bring and share meal together
2nd Sunday of the month: Connect– discuss, learn and build friendship.
( We don’t always meet in Didcot on 2nd Sundays as we join with the wider Gate church on ‘One Church Sundays.’)
3rd Sunday of the month: Discover. Worship, Sermon and prayer.
4th Sunday of the month: Connect– discuss, learn and build friendship
5th Sunday of the month: Social occasion
A high priority for the congregation is to have a program of evangelism for the year incorporating various opportunities to reach out with the gospel. One of the highlights is the Turning Easter Festival when, long with other churches in the town, a variety of approaches are used to reach out to neighbours, friends, colleagues and strangers, in a relaxed and enjoyable way.
One of the measurable goals of the congregation is to grow to 30 people in order to transition to holding services on a weekly basis.
