We hope this page helps you understand who The Gate Youth are, what we do and how young people can get involved.

At The Gate Kids our heart is to equip and release children to experience God and His presence and enable them to reach their full potential in Christ. We want to work with them to draw out their unique gifts and callings and we want to create a family environment in our rapidly increasing communities.

Are you looking for something to do with your 0 – 4 year old child? Do you want to meet other mums and carers? Then Seedlings is the group for you!

Our aim is to gather the Men of the church for socials to have fellowship, connect and build relationships and to be who God wants us to be.

All are invited, great breakfast, great fellowship. Held at The Gate Sindlesham, the second Saturday of the month from 8:30 AM.

At The Pearls, we embrace the strength, resilience, and value of women’s experiences, recognising them as precious and worthy of respect.

Our Worship Team exists first and foremost to serve God. Through the sounds of worship, we desire to create an atmosphere where people can truly encounter God, experience His presence, and respond to His love. We believe worship is more than songs – it is a posture of the heart – and we carry this calling with humility, excellence, and joy.

We have three Evangelism ministries: Reading Evangelistic Festival, Take it to the Community and Reading Revival Outreach (RRO).

Encounter is a monthly evening service that rotates around our communities every few months. The time revolves around worship which continues consistently throughout the evening and we hope those attending will feel comfortable to worship as they feel comfortable, whether that’s joining in with sung worship, picking up a flag to dance, art, reading your Bible or just being quiet.

Prayer is an integral part of our community.  We have many opportunities for you to join in with if you have a heart to pray for the community both inside and outside of our Church.

We have a team of Intercessors who love to gather to hear from the Lord and to press into what he says. Over the years we have been grateful to this team as often they have been part of ‘praying in’ what God has done with us as a church. Once a month the intercessors usually invite people to join them.

Here at The Gate we believe the Lord is speaking to His people all the time and that scripture encourages us to pursue the gift of Prophecy. We encourage a prophetic culture in the church and run a Prophetic Hub (with links to other hubs in the UK, through NewCarmel Prophets.).
