Here at The Gate we believe the Lord is speaking to His people all the time and that scripture encourages us to pursue the gift of Prophecy. We encourage a prophetic culture in the church and run a Prophetic Hub (with links to other hubs in the UK, through NewCarmel Prophets.). Here we learn to prophecy with integrity, accountability and in fellowship with one another, The Local Prophetic hub meets:
- Once a month to gather and encourage one another to grow in the prophetic gift.
- Once a month for prophetic outreach. This involves a visit to a local café to share prophetic words or joining in with other outreach events of The Gate.
- We also provide opportunity for local church leaders to receive prophetic input and prayer. The dates and times vary.
- We seek to encourage prophecy as a lifestyle not just a gift for occasional use.
- We also provide basic training for those just starting out in the prophetic.
- We welcome prophetic individuals who are looking for a Prophetic community to feel safe and at home.
- We pursue opportunities to encourage other churches in the prophetic gift.
- We seek to operate in the gift through missional opportunities locally, nationally and around the world.
- Anyone is welcome at The Hub who lives in the area (not just from The Gate); anyone who is looking for a safe place to learn and grow in the prophetic.
