Equipped to Heal – Bringing God’s Love in Action Equipped to Heal is one of The Gate’s ministries, dedicated to seeing lives transformed through God’s healing power. We believe that freedom, health, and wholeness are part of God’s heart for every person — and we create spaces for people to encounter His presence and experience restoration.

The Turning began almost unexpectedly, in a local Baptist church called The Gate in Reading, England, on May 29th, 2016. What started as a simple, one-week evangelistic outreach quickly became something no one could have predicted – a powerful move of the Holy Spirit that has since been described by many as the most extraordinary grassroots evangelistic outpouring seen in the UK in decades.
