We were trained all through our years as children to be church goers, respectful honourable obedient and truthful.  As a result of this, I grew up being very confident and learning to depend on my good works for acceptance by God.

February 2026 When “Praise the Lord” isn’t enough At the end of September last year, I became unwell after a gym session with severe pains across my stomach and bad diarrhoea. The stomach pains persisted for over a week so a visit to the doctor was booked who ordered a full blood-count, a stool sample test and an ultrasound scan. My thoughts and the doctors were that it could be a muscular tear.

February 2026 I Once Was Lost, But Now Am Found I grew up with what I would call an ordinary childhood. Sundays were spent going to church with my mum and my sister. It was simply part of life — routine, familiar, safe. I knew about God, but I didn’t yet know Him personally. Everything changed when I was 11 years old.
