My Life is now full of Hope, Purpose and Gratitude
Before I met Jesus Christ, I was a Muslim. I grew up in a religion which I was obliged to follow. I performed rituals and practices out of duty, yet my heart found no peace. I always tried to find true satisfaction through prayers and religious duties. But no matter how hard I tried, anxiety and confusion kept growing inside me.
For years, I lived with questions and doubts, having a deep emptiness inside. I tried to find happiness and fulfilment in work, relationships and temporary successes but nothing could satisfy my heart. Nothing could fill the emptiness and loneliness. I constantly questioned myself, “Am I good enough?”
The real change began when I met a former co-worker who had also been a Muslim but had turned to Christianity. His transformation and the stories he shared about his faith sparked my curiosity. Thousands of question marks flying in my head.
The lives of Christians and how they experienced the love of Jesus illuminated my heart and attracted me to Jesus.
Through reading the Bible, I learned that humanity had been separated from God because of sin, but Jesus Christ died in the place of sinners, taking upon Himself the punishment we deserved. I realized that salvation came through faith only, not my own efforts. I understood that God loved me unconditionally.
On 10 Oct 2024 I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, everything started to change.
Faith in Him gave me peace, hope, and courage, and I realized I could entrust my life to Him. Jesus died for me in the cross and His blood washed away my sins. I am now a child of God, and that I have the assurance of eternal life.
This truth brings me peace and hope I have never experienced. Problems still exist, yet I am no longer alone. I know God is with me every step of my way, protecting me, guiding me and leading me through the valley of shadow of death.
7 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

This is one of my favourite bible verses. It gives me strength and motivation to follow Jesus Christ. My understanding of it is that if a person truly desires for salvation and surrenders his heart to Him, the door will open, and he will find Him.
On 12 Oct 2025, I was baptised in The Gate. Through faith in Christ and baptism, I have begun a new life. Baptism symbolizes cleansing, rebirth, and the start of a path I continue with His love and faith.
Today, my life is full of hope, purpose and gratitude, and I believe that God is always with me, guiding my steps.
10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
