I Put My Entire Life in Jesus
I grew up in a Christianity family. I go to church since I am little. In my memory I went to church every Sunday because, for me, church was just a playground and a fun place. I didn’t understand why we needed to pray in the church and before eating, I found it really annoying, so I always opened my eyes and ate while we were praying. I went to church just for fun and because my parents wanted me to.
When I was six years old, I started to read bible and worship in the kids Sunday Service, I was thinking “why do we need to worship and read the bible?” I felt bored because I was thinking “what is the difference between church and school?”
One day we went to a dolphin watching trip. My parents told me the chance of seeing a dolphin was very slim. I prayed, “God, please let me see a dolphin.” For 5 minutes we had not seen a single dolphin. I thought prayer was useless. Suddenly a pink dolphin jumped out of the sea, and it was very close to me. The dolphin kept jumping around the boat!
Back home I prayed to God and said, “Thank you Lord, you listened to what I said and you made my dream come truth.”
In 2020 we moved to Taiwan. I did not have a friend in church, so I played video game in the church, I didn’t read bible and I didn’t worship. I had a friend in school, at the beginning I did not know his dad was a cervical spine doctor. One day I invited all my friends to my house for a barbeque, including him. During the chat, I realized that his father was a doctor specialized in spine, which was exactly my father needed for his spine condition. We were all amazed that God knew what we needed and He was working miracles that we never expected. Even now we still talk about how amazing our God is. Later on, we went to the church my friend was going. It was really good and I got lot of friends. I started to love reading the Bible and to worship God.
In 2023 we moved to UK, we had no idea what church we should go until Pastor Joanna invited us. I thought I would not get connected in church, then Jacob invited me to their friend group, I was so happy to have a new friend. My youth leader Tom taught me to read English Bible and gave me much encouragement.
In 2024 I start to know Jesus more. Jesus helped so many people and he sacrificed for our sins. Now I understand the bread in Communion is Jesus’ body, and the cup is Jesus’ blood, this touched me very much.
In 2025 I put my entire life to Jesus, I accepted Jesus as my Lord. Now I would like to obey Jesus to be baptised and to follow Him all my life.
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
