He Never Fails Me
Growing up as a science student, believing in a Creator was a no-brainer to me. How complex and interconnected the systems in our bodies are, and how physics and chemistry in the universe operate in such perfect order, are beyond human imagination. Only God, the ultimate Designer, could have created all of this.
Yet, as a critical thinker, I questioned many things. For years, I refused to attend church, struggling with the difference between a God-led faith and a human-led one. It took me more than ten years to truly return and commit my life to God, after realising He had shown me countless signs and miracles that I could no longer deny.
On a personal level, I used to believe I had to work hard to earn the life I desired. But God taught me otherwise — He accepts me as I am and constantly reminds me, “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10). I no longer strive on my own but trust the Lord to provide what is right for me in His perfect timing.
In Him, I have found peace and freedom.
The year 2025 has been especially challenging for me. I lost both my dog and my grandma in the same year. After sharing the gospel with my grandma for over 20 years without success, I never imagined she would respond to God in the final stage of her life. God is faithful to His promises and answers prayers. One day, during a FaceTime call, she suddenly told me she was ready and joyful to be saved by our Lord and to accept Him as her Saviour.
I am deeply grateful that in the last month of her life, she accepted Jesus as her personal Saviour and got baptised. She was clear and confident in her faith, continually praying for a peaceful transition into eternal life.
I know Jesus paid the ultimate price to redeem me, and I am grateful to live a life guided by His wisdom as my Lord and Saviour. I am proud to say that God has saved not only me but also led my entire family to know Him and become Christians, fulfilling His promise:
31 Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.
(Acts 16:31)
There is no greater blessing than knowing that one day, we will meet again in our eternal home.
10 Be still, and know that I am God.
(Psalm 46:10)
